For Media – Kotilo

Kotilo is the playful home for children’s culture in the Oulu Central Library Saari. The imaginative and inspiring meeting place is accessible and safe – children and families can enjoy, play, experience and explore art and be inspired to create independently. Kotilo’s activities are directed primarily to children under 12 and families, as well as school and daycare groups. However, people of all ages are welcome to explore Kotilo’s experiential exhibitions!

Children’s Cultural Centre Kotilo is a part of the city of Oulu’s Educational and Cultural Services and general culture services. On top of Kotilo, general culture services include the Cultural Centre Valve, Urban Neighborhood Culture and Arts and Well-Being
