Frozen Nights – Film Competition
A submission form must be completed for each film participating in the competition by 31 August 2026.
The competition values creativity, inventiveness, and originality in both storytelling and expression. After the pre-selection, the films will be divided into competition categories, which will be presented online and at the Frozen Nights event.
There are three competition categories:
- filmmakers under 12 years old
- filmmakers aged 13–15
- filmmakers aged 16–20
Children and young people aged 7–20 may participate in the competition. All film styles and genres are welcome. Films may be new or slightly older. The film must be submitted by an adult filmmaker, or in the case of a minor filmmaker, by a guardian, teacher, or workshop instructor. Films may be independently produced by individuals or groups without professional guidance, or they may be works created in clubs, camps, or film workshops led by film educators or film professionals.
Films participating in the competition must be submitted for preview by 31 August 2026.
The film can be submitted in the following ways:
- Provide in the registration form a link to the film available on YouTube, Vimeo, or a similar service.
- Provide in the registration form a download link to the film stored in a cloud service (such as Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.).
- The film may also be sent using, for example, the TransferNow website.
