Frozen Nights – Film Competition

A total of 76 films were submitted to the first international Frozen Nights Film Competition for films made by children and young people. Twenty-four films from 10 different countries have been selected as finalists across three competition categories.

The competition categories will be announced in October together with the rest of the Frozen Nights programme.

The Frozen Nights Media Art Festival will take place at Cultural Centre Valve and the Children’s Cultural Centre Kotilo from 10 to 13 November 2026. The festival will culminate in the Frozen Nights Gala on Friday, 13 November at 6:00 PM at Cultural Centre Valve.
