eVaka is the city of Oulu’s early childhood education and care customer data system. eVaka works in Finnish and English.
With eVaka you can:
- apply for a place in early childhood education, preschool, and clubs for your child
- accept a place in early childhood education, preschool, or club
- apply for a change in the service need (does not apply to private early childhood education and care)
- report income data or give consent to the highest client fee
- report your child's early childhood education hours and absences (does not apply to private early childhood education and care)
- terminate a place in early childhood education and care
- receive newsletters on early childhood education and care (does not apply to private early childhood education and care)
- communicate with early childhood education staff (does not apply to private early childhood education and care)
- review your child’s documents, such as the child's early childhood education plan
- book an appointment for a discussion about your child (does not apply to private early childhood education and care)
- review photos and videos taken of your child, as well as their creations (does not apply to private early childhood education and care)
On top of the services available to you, eVaka offers features that help daycare centres and family day care providers in their activity planning. It is an extensive service that is used to process customer information, day care charges and decision-making.
