Hiukkavaara Central Playground

A landmark of the Hiukkavaara Central Playground is the almost 8-meter-tall Tornileikki, the tallest play tower in Oulu, inside of which you can examine the surroundings with a bird’s eye view. One of the tower’s three slides is a large tube slide. Tornileikki became very popular immediately after it opened in the fall of 2023. 

The Hiukkavaara Central Playground is located next to the Hiukkavaara Community Centre. There are commercial services in the area. Buses pass nearby and you can park bicycles at the Marssiaukio nearby. In the evenings, weekends, and school holidays, you can park your car in the Community Centre’s parking area.
