Trees fallen in storms

Avoid going into forests during storms. If you see any fallen trees, please act as follows:

If the tree causes immediate threat (for example, it has fallen on a road), call Emergency Services 112. The Rescue Department will remove the dangerous tree.

If the tree has fallen on a power line, contact your electricity provider’s malfunction service.

If the tree has fallen in the city’s park/forest, report the tree via the feedback service. Trees in the city’s owned areas will be removed by the maintenance service in charge of the area.

If a tree falls on your plot

The plot owner is responsible for trees that fall over on plots, also on rented plots.

If a tree falls from the city’s side to your plot and causes damage, act as follows:

Photograph the damages and explain what happened, where, and when. Report the damage via the feedback service

Report the damages immediately to your insurance provider.
