Anti-slip shoe grips to +75-year-olds 2-6 October 2017
Residents in Oulu who turn at least 75 years this year are entitled to get free anti-slip shoe grips. You can get them in Oulu10 service points during 2 and 6 October 2017 at 9 am – 3 pm.
When getting the grips, take time since there may be queues and be prepared to prove your identity.
There are several Oulu10 service points: in the city centre, in Oulunsalo, Haukipudas, Kiiminki, Yli-Ii and in Ylikiiminki. See addresses on the Internet at www.ouka.fi/oulu/asiointi-ja-neuvonta/.
Persons needing anti-slip shoe grips who are covered by city services in home care, in service housing with 24-hour assistance or in institutional care will get anti-slip shoe grips through their own staff by the end of the year.
Giving out free anti-slip shoe grips for the elderly is a once-only project of the city welfare services as part of the Finland 100 programme.
