Committees are set up to handle tasks in specified administrative assemblies. The operations and tasks of committees are designated in their service regulations.
The members and deputy members of committees are appointed by the City Council. It also appoints a chairperson and deputy chairperson among the members. The City Board has a representative on each committee in order to monitor decision-making. The representative has the right to speak in meetings but does not have the right to vote.
