Library Creative Facilities
Central Library Saari’s Digital Makerspace and studios offer you an opportunity to try out, learn, and create something new. The facilities are designed for everyone who wants to develop their skills in digital creation, recording, filming, and other creative work.
The facilities and equipment of the Digital Makerspace and the studios can be used for personal projects and practice. You will learn and create independently. The library offers instructions and tips. The staff will help you at the start, but independent learning, creativity, and trial are the primary roles of the facilities.
In the Digital Makerspace, you can try out, for example, 3D printing, digitization, and image processing. In the studios, you can practice music, make podcasts, or play video games. The studios are designed for diverse activities, both acoustically and digitally.
Band Studio Hermanni, Media Studio Kropsu, and Gaming Studio Kraaseli are not yet in use. The Acoustic Studio Löyhä can already be reserved.
